Another stormy week of the joint struggle was in the focus of the world media as the
sailing flotilla was continuously sabotaged by Israel and other bribed states. The Flying
Flotilla joined the sailing one this week. The usual locations of struggle within Israel:
of Arakib, Jerusalem , Lod-Ramla, Ben Gurion airfield, Tel-Aviv, and occupied Palestine:
Beit Ummar, Bil’in, Ma’asara, Ni’ilin, Nabi Saleh, South of Hebron hills, and the sporadic
location of Karyut, Qadum, Tawna, and Walage. The storm in the public arena around the sea
flotilla, the Flying Flotilla, and the new law banning calls to boycott the settler
colonial industries and Israel as a whole (B.D.S.) show how a small number of activists
can rock the settler colonialist project called Israel.

Friday
“Complementing its resistance against the occupation , Bil’in began the work of
reconstruction in the liberated territory after the removal of the wall.
Confirming the continuation of resistance and popular struggle, the Popular Committee
Against the Wall and Settlements in Bil’in organized the march toward the liberated
territory. They participated along with the people of Bil’in, dozens of international
activists, and two dozens of Israelis of the AAtW.

The march began in front of the village mosque after Friday prayers ended. It proceeded in
the direction of the liberated territory, where participants raised Palestinian flags and
yellow flags of Fatah. Participants chanted slogans and chants of patriotism.

Upon their arrival the participants began work cleaning and removing thorns and stones
from the ground in preparation to start the reconstruction phase. This includes the repair
of the territory as well as preservation from attacks by settlers.

It is noteworthy that the settlers from the settlement Mitatyaho Mzrah, which is built
illegally on Bilins land and adjacent to the recently liberated land, marched this
morning asking that the citizens of Bilin not be allowed to access their reclaimed land.
However, the occupying army used their strength to disperse the settlers.
