What follows is an article from the Guardian about the nature of British resistance to the means to be used to combat the economic slump brought on by the financial community and the forces of capital It gives good cause to reflect on just what a proper attitude of Resistie e Vencer means to the elites and the media. There is a great deal at stake at the moment to the elites if the tide of misfortune swamps them in calm seas. The real test for them is to get the rabble to keep paying to ensure the present utopia and nirvana they, the elites, live in. For them the hope is that present problems will simply become history. One of many factors that need to be looked at is the structure of the propaganda system that has sustained capital for so long.
In a previous posting here at ikners.com it was being suggested that central tol the imperial project and the endless decaying force of capital is that those who benefit the most should pay as little as possible and where deem appropriate by them should pay nothing at all. This has been the practice for at least 200-3oo years of ’social progress’ under the thumb of international monopoly capital. Whenever there is money to be made or paid the rabble are set upon, called upon or just plain stolen from for the funding required. The usual call is for belt tightening, austerity and the like the whole of existence assumes the tone of the fable about the grasshopper and his profligate ertswhile friend. In that fashion those who are claimed disgracefully to ‘create’ wealth are put up as shining examples of self abnegation and control and the rabble are viewed as avarice driven uncontrollable savages in need of discipline and custody where necessary should the be any consequent behaviour from them. The super wealthy elite members retain their god status and are lauded by a servile media as the saviours of the whole of existence.
This is the position Rudolf Rocker and Chomdky use that phrases that we become inoculated with a delusion that those above are the salvation of us all. This is the precise point where mere subservience, oppression and domination becomes complete as the rabble actually believe what they have been told and taught. As a sideline the elite employ their own methods themselves then become self-anointed messengers, the Mount Olympus of sentinels to guide us all to the promised land. They of course are like true utopians already there physically by their possession of virtually everything the rabble create and spiritually by the use of various religious devices to suggest to the rabble that the rabble must wait for a post mortem utopian state. On the way the devise a means of calling the long suffering rabble utopians and fools to even contemplate what the elites have provided for themselves here on earth. It is the ultimate success of propaganda that not only can this be attempted but can be so devastatingly achieved. One of the devices of reasoning used by the elite is to judge all by their own standards of theft, dishonesty, greed, lust for power and slaughter.
It is the elites who drink the blood at the sacrifices at the altar of capital. The blood comes from the slaughter of dissident rabble everywhere. You can see this has taken place in all parts of the world under the immense power of the imperial project, the best example of infusing religion intro the arena is in South America and Israel. In both areas the religious element of domination, servility and acceptance is strongest. In Israel and elsewhere in the Diaspora the amount of sheer arrogant assumption of correctness is at first truly sickening but rapidly becomes even more when it is envisaged that success of the chosen includes the active element of slaughtering and imprisoning those not chosen or ratified by an ossified and vengeful religion that confuses economic desires, land driven disputes and greed with a true religious belief. The results become truly disastrous when the chosen adopt, then modify and refine virtually every method previously used against them by people who share their same madness and delusions. With the result that those who suffer, die and are degraded are expected to do that in silence. Unfortunately there are members of the chosen who would have no truck with these monstrous practices but they are ignored, marginalised and become like the unchosen not worthy of any ordinary life.

7.27pm: A Scotland Yard spokesman said five officers were injured during the protests.
Four were treated for minor injuries and one was taken to hospital with a groin injury, according to PA.
7.23pm: Labour leader Ed Miliband tonight condemned the violence which erupted away from the march, according to PA.
Hundreds of thousands of people peacefully protested today. They are the true voice of today’s march. I unequivocally condemn those who have committed acts of violence. There is no excuse for it. It is unlawful and wrong.
Earlier the Labour leader addressed the rally saying that the marchers represented the opinion of the mainstream majority across the UK.
Our struggle is to fight to preserve, protect and defend the best of the services we cherish because they represent the best of the country we love.
We know what the Government will say: that this is a march of the minority. They are so wrong. David Cameron: you wanted to create the big society – this is the big society.
The big society united against what your Government is doing to our country. We stand today not as the minority, but as the voice of the mainstream majority in this country.
7.01pm: There are reports on Twitter that Lilly Whites is now on fire.
6.59pm: Paul Lewis has called in with a report of a fire in Piccadilly that appears to be getting out of control.
The fire is on Jermyn Street next to Piccadilly. It began about 15mins ago when clashes broke out between the police cordon and protesters. The protesters ripped up scaffolding and planks of wood, filled a waste bin and set it alight. That fire has now spread with flames reaching 11ft high, and from where I’m standing it looks like it is getting out of control. There’s a thick plume of black smoke rising into the sky. I’m about 30ft away and can feel the heat from where I’m standing. Riot police have cleared the immediate vicinity but the whole area around Piccadilly is becoming something of a magnet for people looking to cause disruption. The situation is now getting dangerous.
You can see a photo of the fire here.
6.46pm: Met police saying that Fortnum and Mason is now being treated as a crime scene and threatening UKuncut with arrest.
6.40pm: My colleague Matthew Taylor has said that UKuncut have ended their occupation at Fortnum and Mason and are now being detained by police.
6.10pm: The Metropolitan police press office has said that today’s march has been largely peaceful and well ordered, with a small number of violent disruptions and just nine arrests. This is the police statement:
Today’s TUC March for the Alternative has been peaceful and well-stewarded. However, there have been a number of separate incidents including the throwing of missiles in the Oxford Street area and criminal damage in Shaftesbury Avenue. Police are on the scene and dealing with this.
There have been a small number of arrests made for various public order offences, criminal damage and violent disorder. We can confirm police have not advised businesses in central London to close.
6.00pm: Good evening and welcome to our continuing coverage of the March for the Alternative in London, and the aftermath. You can read our earlier live blog here.
